ALL horses must have a current Coggins test and follow the current New Mexico Livestock Board Rules.
This will be checked before the horse is allowed to enter the fairgrounds.
No refunds will be given if the horse is not allowed to enter due to a non-valid Coggins.

Office Fee per exhibitor = $10.00

(Multiple horse/rider combinations will not be accepted in any halter and rail classes)
All day entry fee for one horse rider combination = $50.00

The classes listed in the show schedule will be judged according to the Rules of the American Quarter Horse Association as described in the 2015 AQHA Rule Book ( unless otherwise indicated. The decisions of the show manager and the show judges are final. Any disagreements are to be taken up with the show manager and we will reserve the right to dismiss anyone for being unsportsmanlike. Exhibitor’s age group is based on their age on January 1, 2015.
All participants (and parents of minors) must sign the release form on the entry form before showing.
Ribbons will be awarded for 1st through 6th place. An overall division high point award will be given for each age group. All classes count toward the overall high point. High point awards will be based on cumulative individual class placing where 1st place in each class can earn up to 6 points. If there are less than 6 entries, points will be awarded the number of points that corresponds to the number of entries. For more than 6 entries 1st place earns 6 points; 2nd place, 5 points; 3rd place, 4 points; 4th place, 3 points; 5th place, 2 points; 6th place, 1 point. Points are kept on a single horse-rider combination. Each horse-rider combination must submit an entry form. In the event of a tie, the order of the tie breakers will be: 1) earned points in the greatest number of events, 2) earned the greatest number of first places and 3) coin toss.
Please call to schedule. All professional trainers, and 4-H and FFA members who are 18 or in their last year of 4-H or FFA may apply to schedule an exhibition ride. You will be limited to four minutes, and must provide your own music on a flashdrive. No roman riding, and all youth must have their pattern approved.
Fun jackpot classes are for all ages. They are not included in the all-day fee. They are $5.00 each, and must be signed up for and paid for before the end of class 54, cash only, (9 & Under Barrel Racing). Winner takes all for each class.

West from Las Cruces on I–10 to Exit 132, turn left across overpass then right on Robert Larson Boulevard 3 miles to Fairgrounds.
If coming from Deming on I–10, take Exit 127, turn right then left on Frontage Road 1030 2 miles to Fairgrounds.
